Compensation Certificate
AIXTRON has taken it upon themselves to permanently reduce their carbon footprint. Through the use of renewable electricity, AIXTRON has reduced its Scope 2 Emissions for the reporting year of 2021. All remaining, unavoidable carbon emissions from business activities are voluntarily offset. Business activities for the company AIXTRON SE during the year 2021 release greenhouse gas emissions equal to 2,107 tonnes of CO2e emissions.
This certificate confirms that these emissions were offset by emission reductions through the climate protection projects Efficient cook stoves, Uganda Avoided Deforestation, Peru
First Climate has permanently retired the corresponding emission reduction certificates irrevocably from the market.
