AIXTRON is the global leader is the manufacturing and sales of MOCVD deposition systems for epitaxy of compound semiconductor materials and nanomaterials. About the job

In your role as Sales Account Manager for AIXTRON Inc, you will be responsible for expanding the AIXTRON (MO)CVD customer base, managing current accounts, and maintaining customer satisfaction for customer based in North America. 

You will use your experience in semiconductor equipment sales to define and execute sales strategies for customers based on defined regions, product lines, and/or specific markets. Regular collaboration with US-based AIXTRON sales team will provide broad knowledge and support to help obtain your sales goals and requires your contribution to the success of the region and company as a whole. This includes, maintaining and reporting sales leads and market input to the AIXTRON account data base and global marketing teams and participation in AIXTRON regional and global sales and marketing meetings. 

You will use your market knowledge and presentation skills to provide detailed company, market, and tool specification to customers through virtual and in person meetings to support the sales on AIXTRON equipment.  As part of the capital equipment sales process you will also provide quotations and customer proposals, negotiate complete purchase orders including capital equipment specifications as well as contractual T&C’s.

You will use your communication skills to foster customer relationships at all levels within the customer organization including R&D, Engineering, Production, and Procurement Departments meetings, and enable multi-level customer engagement within the AIXTRON organization to enable customer support at all management levels.  Internal communication with AIXTRON process and service engineering and logistics departments are required in order to ensure full customer support and satisfaction.

You will also work with AIXTRON Inc Customer Support Departments to promote and negotiate of AIXTRON’s After Sales Products (service contracts, upgrades, spare parts agreements).  The goal is to build and maintaining strong, long-lasting and trusting customer relationships, anticipate the customer’s needs, and be connected with the customer through various level of customer’s operations.

Travel requirement includes frequent travel to customer locations, participation in networking and company name promotion, travel to AIXTRON sites in US, Germany and the UK in support of US sales leads and other company initiatives. 

The position’s home base is flexible, assuming the requirements for travel are met. 

Your profile:

  • Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills: Excellent listening, negotiation, and proven presentation abilities required
  • Ability to generate leads through proactive customer relationships and be able to quickly adapt to the dynamic semiconductor market conditions and customer needs
  • Ability to juggle multiple sales leads and account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Ability to develop business strategies and apply them in practice with active customer accounts.
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a variety of Customer personnel such as Production Managers, Tool Owners, Procurement specialists and Management and Executive teams.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and take a leadership role
  • Ability to travel internationally and domestically up to 60% of the time

 

Your experience:

  • Requires a BS degree or equivalent sales experience in a related industry. A MS/ME or Ph.D Degree in Chemistry, Physics, or Electrical/Materials Engineering is highly preferred.  
  • Requires 5+ Years of sales and/or marketing experience in semiconductor equipment. 
  • Requires ability to understand and explain technical details to a variety of audiences. 
  • Expert knowledge of company's products and markets strongly desired
