Your Challenge

• As an experienced full-stack developer, you will work closely with your agile team to tackle technical and conceptual challenges, collaboratively developing suitable solutions and ideas for our current and future plant software and its surrounding components.
• You will coordinate with stakeholders, partners, process engineers, and other colleagues regarding requirements and acceptance criteria, while ensuring our high quality standards through unit testing, simulation testing, and direct system testing. You will share your knowledge within the team and always maintain an overview of the overall architecture.
• Among other responsibilities, you will ensure the timely completion of all assigned tasks.
• Through appropriate software concepts, implementation, testing, and documentation — while considering applicable national and international standards — you will help guarantee the demanding AIXTRON quality standard.

What You Bring

• You are passionate about software development.
• You enjoy working in an agile team environment and are self-driven, structured, and responsible.
• You hold a degree in an IT-related field or a completed vocational training qualification, along with at least 5-10 years of professional experience as a software engineer in complex software projects.
• As a full-stack developer, you have good to very good knowledge of programming languages such as C# and JavaScript (Node.js/Vue.js), as well as the associated tool ecosystem.
• Experience with Windows host and Linux systems, virtual machines, and containerization, as well as knowledge of additional object-oriented programming languages, web development, and software architecture design/documentation techniques, would be an advantage.
• You are always willing to familiarize yourself with new topics, contribute ideas, and stay informed about new developments and trends in IT.
• Strong communication skills in English, and ideally in German, along with a willingness to travel, complete your profile.
