Your Challenge

• Design, build, and optimize end-to-end AI solutions to increase internal productivity and enhance decision quality across the organization
• Develop and deploy AI Agents, enriched LLM solutions, and predictive analytics models at scale, with a strong focus on the Microsoft technology stack
• Implement and maintain Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and Model-Context-Protocol (MCP) integrations
• Support the full AI solution lifecycle: from requirements analysis and prototyping through to deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement
• Collaborate as AI technical contributor in cross-functional projects and work closely with senior AI Engineers, Data Engineers, and business stakeholders in an international team
• Contribute to building scalable data pipelines and integration patterns using Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, Azure ML, and Microsoft Fabric
• Support the definition and enforcement of AI governance, security, and compliance standards
• Continuously develop your knowledge of the technology stack and actively contribute to innovation within the team

The skills needed

• You hold a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Engineering, or a related field
• You have 3–5 years of professional experience in AI engineering, data engineering, or related roles and are experienced in building real production AI systems
• You have a solid understanding of the Microsoft technology stack, ideally in Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, Azure ML, and Microsoft Fabric; relevant certifications (e.g., Azure AI Engineer Associate) would be a plus
• You have practical experience with LLM-based applications, prompt engineering, RAG architectures, or AI agent frameworks
• You understand MLOps principles, CI/CD for ML, and scalable deployment patterns
• You have strong programming skills in Python (2+ years) and experience with cloud-native development
• You ideally are familiar with data modelling, ETL/ELT processes, and API-based integrations or have at least first experience
• You bring analytical thinking, a structured working style, and strong problem-solving skills
• You have excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus
• You are highly motivated to grow into a senior AI Engineering role and act as a pillar in Sofia to help ramp up the Data & AI capability over the next years
