Your Challenge

  • Perform and supervise the installation, technical system checks, and commissioning of equipment at customer sites worldwide.
  • Continuously gather, analyze, and summarize customer feedback and report findings to the line manager.
  • Follow up on service-related activities and ensure the timely execution of service tasks.
  • Prepare timely and transparent reports, particularly regarding job schedules, potential risks, technical challenges and related issues.
  • Communicate and collaborate professionally with customers.
  • Support and maintain the AIXTRON corporate image by delivering excellent customer service.
  • Ensure the proper functionality of tools and safety equipment while strictly adhering to safety procedures, especially when handling hazardous chemicals.
  • Support shift duties when required by customer requests.
  • Undertake international travel of more than 90% to support customers across Europe, the USA, and other global locations.

 

Your qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in equipment engineering or technical service, ideally within the semiconductor, CVD or PVD industry.
  • Experience in the technical customer service of AIXTRON MOCVD systems is considered an advantage.
  • Previous working experience in European companies is preferred.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, vacuum, gas, and software control systems.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Willingness to undertake international travel and long-term assignments abroad.
