AIXTRON – You don’t have to be an engineer to find outstanding prospects here

We welcome students who hold majors in any area that is relevant to the success of a dynamic and growing company. In other words, we want to hear from you even if you don’t have a degree in engineering or the natural sciences.

Our roots are in RWTH Aachen. To date, we still have close ties to universities in the Aachen region. We are currently supporting up-and-coming researchers by means of grants in the areas of electrical engineering, physics, mechanical engineering, and information technology at RWTH.

We offer student trainees in all fields the opportunity to be involved in our multifaceted projects while they pursue their studies, or they may opt to complete an internship as part of their studies. Together with a personal mentor, they establish content-related focus areas that are related to their study programs. Job prospects are not restricted to just engineers. University graduates in other subject fields may find exceptional entry possibilities at AIXTRON, with the areas of marketing, sales, HR, and finance becoming more and more important.

We offer interesting prospects in the following technical fields:

  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Material sciences
  • Electrical engineering
  • Mechanical engineering
  • Automation technology
  • Information technology
  • Business administration
  • Marketing
  • Sales

An internship also provides the opportunity to further enhance subject matter expertise or to apply theoretical knowledge acquired in academic programs to real-world situations. Besides gaining greater insight in a particular field, individuals may also be exposed to training in soft skills, such as teamwork, managing stressful situations, or working under tight deadlines.

We would welcome receiving your application at any time. Find out more.
