Your tasks
  • Specialist coordination of software developments as well as specification, creation and further development of application software for APEVA systems
  • Development of control concepts and control architectures
  • Assessment, coordination, processing and following up of work packages in product development projects and customer projects
  • Coordination and specialist instruction of software development teams
  • Collection and analysis of software and hardware requirements and creation of requirement specifications and technical specifications
  • Creation and management of technical documentation, standards and references
  • Creation of test specifications and test plans as well as software integration and testing
Your responsibility
  • Independently and responsibly processing and completing tasks in your area of activity in the required quality and within the specified time
  • Escalating to your supervisor or project manager in the event of deviations or problems
  • Acting in a cost-conscious manner
Your profile
  • Degree in electrical engineering, automation technology or a comparable field of study
  • In-depth experience in CNC programming (Beckhoff, Pilz PSS, Mitsubishi, Omron) and fieldbus systems
  • Experience working with Windows operating systems as well as C# and JScript
  • Knowledge of and experience with drive technology (setting parameters of engine controls) and robot technology would be an advantage
  • Several years of professional experience in a comparable position at a plant engineering company
  • Independent and structured worker with a keen analytical understanding of complex topics
  • Team spirit, communication skills and assertiveness
  • Proficient user of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Very good command of spoken and written German and English
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
