Our goal is to define, implement and constantly monitor the optimum procurement and provisioning strategies for our complex products. In your role as “Supply Chain Management and Logistics Expert”, you will supply our development and production departments as well as our customers with replacement parts while keeping the capital commitment of our global inventories at a suitable level. Given these conditions, the job is guaranteed to be rich in variety.

Your tasks:

  • Planning and carrying out projects and activities with the aim of optimising internal and external supply chains (process analyses, preparation of concepts, implementation, including software solution, documentation and training)
  • Further developing our supply chain portfolio to be applied to various material classes (ABC/XYZ). This includes:
    • Providing consultation for operational and executive departments involved in the supply chain process
    • Preparing and applying provisioning strategies and forecasting methods
    • Expanding and maintaining our key figure system
  • Providing assistance with the operational tasks of logistics, e.g.
    • Monthly MRP validation for the replacement parts area
    • Monitoring and, if necessary, adapting “expert parts” and providing assistance with the determination of provisioning quantities
    • Implementing worldwide inventory strategies
    • Topics relevant for export/import
  • Establishing and expanding SAP variant configurators
    • Improving the use of the SAP variant configuration and the integration in our business processes
    • Creating and changing knowledge of dependencies in cooperation with product management
    • Creating and maintaining configuration models
    • Providing user training and assistance to the specialist departments on using the configurators

Your profile:

  • Commercial or technical degree, ideally with a focus on supply chain and/or logistics
  • Several years of professional experience in supply chain management and/or logistics
  • Project management experience
  • Experience with leading workshops and giving presentations
  • Highly solution-oriented worker who shows initiative
  • Knowledge of SAP R/3 in the modules required for the supply chain (including forecasting tools)
