The Role:

We are looking for a Project Engineer to support the development and productization of AIXTRON’s new autonomous cell culture system.

In this role you will be part of a high performance, multi-disciplinary team dedicated to the development and release of a new product at AIXTRON. As a Project Engineer you will work with our internal development team and suppliers to ensure the successful launch and subsequent scale up of AIXTRON’s new product. The work will cover a wide range of engineering aspects and will include, product development and validation, design for cost and manufacture, supplier selection, reliability testing and the creation of documentation for product release. 

Your responsibilities:

• Support the development and subsequent release of a new product at AIXTRON Ltd.  Coordination of activities between the development team and critical suppliers 
• Management of Bill of Materials and Product configuration to meet quality, cost and timeline requirement for customer systems
• Management of all ISO quality procedures, internal documentation and CE/UKCA for this new product
• Management of Continuous Improvements Programmes (CIP) and initiatives in-line with best practices and coprprate procedures

Your profile:

• Engineering degree in an Electrical / Mechanical discipline or equivalent qualification/experience 
• Some supervisory and/or Project Management experience preferred
• Microsoft Office capable (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Experience in Design for Manufacture, Design for Cost desired. 
• Experience in working with ISO90001 processes
• Accurate, thorough, consistent, pro-active, assertive
• Good communication skill
• Team player
