The Role:

Your Responsibilities:

• Producing complete, accurate and timely information for monthly, quarterly and annual Group reporting for UK companies using SAP
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Liaising with external advisers, auditors, banks and colleagues in Germany, US and Asia
• Developing existing systems, processes and procedures to enhance the reporting for both management and statutory purposes
• Actively providing financial expertise and participate in UK and cross border business projects
• Business partnering with colleagues and key stakeholders at all levels and departments throughout the business

Your profile:

• A qualified accountant or equivalent
• Knowledge of IFRS
• This role would suit someone in their first move from practice, ideally with 1 or 2 years post qualification experience.
• Previous commercial experience in a similar role advantageous but not required.
• Good communication skills and confident in dealing with all levels within organisation
• Excellent organisational and administration skills
• Accurate and thorough with an eye for detail
• Positive and proactive, a good team player
• Able to handle working under pressure and to very tight deadlines

Working Conditions / Environment:

• Role based at AIXTRON Ltd, Cambridgeshire
• You will adopt the working practices of a modern engineering office and a company-wide quality system.
• Normally a day shift role, with some flexibility required.
• Possibility of occasional travel
