!!! Press Release !!! New Appointments at AIXTRON AIXTRON is pleased to announce two new appointments at its headquarters in Aachen. Dr. Michael Bremser, previously employed as a Research Assistant at the North Carolina State University, Raleigh, NC, within the famous research group headed by Prof. Davis, has just been recruited as a Process Engineer. Dr. Bremser has considerable experience in MOCVD growth of GaN as well as AlGaN. He will join AIXTRON´s team of Process Engineers who are responsible for the start-up of new reactors at customers´ sites around the world. Dr. Michael Heuken has been recruited as Coordinator of R&D Projects. Dr. Heuken was previously employed as a Professor at the University of Aachen (RWTH) where he lead indepth research in II-VI and III-V materials. Dr. Heuken, who has worked closely with AIXTRON for many years, will take over the coordination of the many R&D projects with universities and research institutes at international, national and EC level.
