AIXTRON expands Service Team in Taiwan

In order to provide improved service to the valuable customers in Taiwan and to the importance of the Taiwanese market for AIXTRON, the company has hired an additional Service Engineer for the region. Mr. Helmke Heller, a German engineer, joined AIXTRON on July 1998. He is now permanently based in Taiwan in our office at Challentech Int’l. Corp. in Hsinchu. Thus providing a 24 hours service, 7 days a week, AIXTRON’s customers will obtain faster response times to their service inquiries.

Mr. Heller’s background makes him ideally suited for his position. He graduated from Dieburg Technological University, Germany with a Masters in Electrical Engineering. During his studies, Mr. Heller spent already one term in Japan. Following his studies Mr. Heller worked with a German OEM manufacturer in South China as project manager.

Service and sales in Taiwan continue to be closely coordinated from Aachen headquarters. Responsible for sales is Dr. Bernd Schulte along with Dr. Christian Geng and Dr. Joerg Soellner. Mr. Klaus-Dieter Huetter and Mr. Rudolf Esser are responsible for service in Taiwan.

Over the last number of years, AIXTRON has acquired many new customers in Taiwan. This expansion of the company’s service network in the region, is designed to provide the fastest possible service response time so that customers can be assured of minimum downtime, maximum operation efficiency of their systems and direct response to general inquiries.
