Mike Satoh appointed as General Manager of
AIXTRON K.K., Tokyo, Japan

Aachen/Tokyo, 12th January, 2004 – AIXTRON is delighted to report that starting from 1 November 2003 Mr. Mike Satoh now fills the position of General Manager / Director of AIXTRON K.K. He is now responsible for our AIXTRON K.K. operation including sales operations for the AIXTRON group products. This further strengthens AIXTRON K.K.'s commitment to its Japanese customers. AIXTRON K.K. serves its customers with high-quality technical service and support as well as large spare parts stocks."

Mike Satoh worked for many years at the Japanese trading company, Moritani & Co., Ltd., within the international sales department to serve different Japanese industries such as electric wire & cable, optical telecommunication fiber, pulp & paper industries, etc. He was engaged in marketing and sales of various types of production equipment and automatic measuring & testing systems in those industries. Since October, 2001, he was seconded from Moritani to AIXTRON K.K. as one of the directors to start up and operate the new organization in success.
