TEKCORE achieves outstanding Performance and Yield producing blue and green LEDs

Using an AIX 2600G3 HT system with 24x2” configuration

Aachen/Nantou, July 28, 2003 – Established in 2000, Tekcore is one of the “young players” in the field of LED manufacturing. As such, Tekcore’s product performance has rocketed to high end qualifications turning Tekcore into one of Taiwan’s leading companies within a few months, using several AIX 2000HT systems for their development. In 2001, Tekcore was one of the pioneer companies purchasing an AIX 2600G3 HT systems, their first one of now three, to boost their capacity.

Mr. Nithi N. Nithipalan, President of Tekcore explains: “For us it is most important to have our top products of over 250mcd in green and up to 100mcd in blue running in a stable production. Our customers expect constant quality while the wavelength specifications are becoming more and more restricted. Our current production yield of the AIXTRON systems is over 90%.”
