AIXTRON develops and manufactures systems that make compound semiconductors for LED production processes. The corresponding system technology is known as Metal Organic Chemical Vapor Deposition (MOCVD), which is a highly complex material coating procedure. AIXTRON’s customers can now choose from various system-types, although Planetary Reactor and Close Coupled Showerhead processes are the most requested. Manufacturing compound semiconductors is based on a variety of principles, yet the results are uniformly precise, reliable, and of the highest quality.
